The "Conservation Joinery" period workshop was created by Ray Johnston purely to produce reproduction items and section for the refurbishment side of the business. Essential items in the refurbishment of sash windows, such as staff and parting beads and cills are all produced in our own workshop, thus maintaining quality and consistency.
The demand for single glazed sash windows is now high as many properties are within conservation areas or are listed buildings.
If you want to maintain the period style of your property single glazed sash windows can be fitted to any property subject to the necessary permissions from your local council planning department. Please note that double-glazed sash windows do not meet the planning requirements for a period property, and we do not manufacture double-glazed sash windows - please see the FAQ.
Please see the sash window specification page.
